Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert was born on the 27th of January 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist, as well as an ex-official of the government. Heather served as Spokesperson of the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow of the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.



 



 Prior to her roles at the Department of State, she was an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. From March 2018 until October of 2018, Nauert served as the acting Under Secretary for State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and to the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
